I've been doing a lot of research on mead as well as liquor, and there seems to be countless recipes of mead with grains and fruits (melomels). I'm sure if distill some mead or melomel similar to any wine base run then a quality product will result. Please let us know how it turns out b/c after hours of reading about mead, I thought a mead liquor might be something spectacular!

I'm doing the ancient orange mead from the gotmead site, execpt it says it takes two months. I hope it's good cause it's easy as hell to make. I wonder if you could run it through a pot still for a liquer?
