New posts since last visit

Is it just me or is the search for new post feature not working ? I remember it working weeks back, but now every time im always getting no new posts. anyone else ????

thanks for the replies guys ..maybe its a cookie issue or something I know If Im logged in and browse the forum from certian pages it will show new posts and from pages it will not ..anyways thanks for replying

I always have to log in twice before these forums recognize me as being logged in. Only then do I get the brown icons showing there are new posts.

Anyone else have this problem?

Rather than relying on the icons, I just go here:

That will show you all the threads that have new posts since you last visited. I have that link bookmarked rather than a link to the forum main page, so I use it every time I visit. This method has its quirks too, but I find it works pretty well.

I had the opposite problem - if i log off or crash off - everything is marked as read and no coloured icons - then I have to go by date - but when was I last here? - Read that, seen that, disagreed with that - that's new but what a crock of $**t, etc ,etc, I'll reply to this - I can help with that one.

I have a similar problem. If I log on it tells me the last time logged on is the same time that I logged in at and won't give me any new posts. If I just go to an entry and access post a reply. it logs me in without a hitch.?
