JB Weld
I'm almost done my pot still. I attached an inverted funnel to the lid. It has some very small leaks where the tubing attaches to the funnel. Would JB Weld be safe to use. I read the package it came in and it says nothing about lead or avoiding food stuffs.

I find JB Qwikweld to be a little misleading. One of the tubes says "steel" or something like that, which it actually is not. It's a form of epoxy. I'll grant you this: it's a really strong, temperature-resistant form of epoxy, but it's still plastic.
My friend recently made one of those beercan stoves for camping that's fueled with denatured alcohol, and he sealed it up with Qwikweld. It works, and it seems to resist the alcohol and the heat fairly well for this purpose, but that doesn't mean nothing is leaching into it, and sometimes it smells a little funny.
I wouldn't risk it.
