The police just left my house.

A county sheriff and a town cop from the next county were looking for a fugative that is armed and dangerous. The BG had shot at his wife and fled. Someone had given the Po Po some very vague directions to where this POS is supposed to be hiding out and it pointed to my house.

The scary part is that I was turning some pear wine into brandy about an hour before and had just finished cleaning up!

Me too. The way cops drink, you'd be out of liquor.

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

A similar thing happened to me several years ago. The cops were looking for the bloke next door and he wasn't living there any longer. They came in and there were three beautiful dope plants drying in the spare room. They stayed chatting for an hour while the entire house smelt like a dope drying room.

They eventually left!!

I hate to be a hard ass,but they need a warrent to serch your house, and cant get one unless they have probable cause. If you give them consent to look around, and they see anything, thats probable cause, and they will leave a cop there to babyset you, while they get a warrent, and you wont be able to get rid of whatever your hiding,so dont let them trick you. They might stake out your house for days, but if there looking for somebody, they will leave in time,so keep your cool!

Here in Canada, if you open the door and allow them to enter your home, they have the right to search your home without a warrant. Don't allow them to enter your home at all, keep them outside unless they do have a warrant to search the premesis, and allow them to search only the areas specified by said warrant.

Unfortunatly the patriot act here in the US has given the law more power, if you are on a watch list, they are allow to search your home without a warrant without probable cause and they dont even have to tell you just wait till you leave. They can search anywhere and everything. Good old USA, land of the free-ish. The patriot act basically made the bill of right void. Dont think its hard to get on a list either.......
