Today is the office holiday party. It's an all day affair for some (most) of us. Several months back I agreed to provide one of the alcohols for mixed drinks and do some kind of Pearl Harbor theme. Kamikaze drinks seemed appropriate so I donated a 1/2 gallon of the cleanest vodka I could make. 4 of us tested it one week earlier with no ill effects that night or the next morning...
Japanese zero planes hanging from the ceiling at various angles... history on the walls... it was fun doing up this one section of the office. I need a drink!
" If you see a Kamikaze, shoot it down "
More to follow Monday if I can remember.

No no no....
It's our COMPANY office holiday party... bunch of beer lov'n engineers! We do it every year on a Friday before Christmas. This year it just happened to fall on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. We leave here at noon and go to a bowling alley or other facility for games, bumper cars, go carts and food first of course... singing engineers etc. It's a riot if you figure that we have a beer fridge and a food fridge in the break room here during all normal days. My buddy in the office next door removes all office furniture and converts it into the Velvet Lounge the night before. If we have a wee bit too much of one thing or another we get a cab ride home on the company. There are usually never any incidnets but tons of laughs and memories.

Actually for those I found some good net jpg's and printed them, stuck them on 2mm plastic and scroll-sawed them out. They are 2d but look 3D.... hung with fish line. There's 5 of them and some history photos and Jap flags on the temporary walls. Inside the office next door is where the friendly's hang.

It's 10:05am... on my second beer, had 2 Kamikazies so far.... all's well.
Further reports to follow.
