Holiday Hooch
Anyone doing any special Holiday Hooch recipes? If so let us all know. I'm trying my first "Apple Pie in a mason jar". I hope it works apples and 1/2 cinn stick let set for 2-3 weeks.

Kahlua, and peppermint are favorites of the season here.
peppermint is SO damn easy...peppermint oil, sugar, and vodka. I usually make a few different color bottles of it with a drop or 2 of food coloring in each bottle.

Ya's got me all excited, so chopped up the apples, got some Peach brandy in the white out, went to the shop for raisins...guess what?Old_Blue wrote:Man I'm glad I found this. This stuff is awesome! 4 days on the cinnamon is just about too long. Second going batch w/adjustments.
So....should i use sultanas or craisin (dried cranberries?)

I have about 3 L of Apple pie left. It is a fine drink just not for me. It does however make a very good chicken marinade. Put chicken pieces in glass container and cover with apple pie, set in frig for 24 hours then cook on grill. Watch out for flare ups though, the ETOH likes to burn a little
