F@%king Indians!

Post by CoopsOz »

Australia just got beaten in the cricket. The series is over. If our batsmen would actually make some runs we might have had a shot. What's worse is Singh ran out Symonds and then bowled Hayden (or was it the other way around). At least the NRL is starting in a couple of weeks.....GO THE EELS!

Yeah, it was a big hit. I reckon I'd fall like a sack of shit if Symonds dropped his shoulder into me, look at the size of the man.

edit - i wrote it too early this morning and the post made little sense. :D

I think the Rabbitohs would happy just to be in a semi-final. They gotta work their way up. If they won the grand final too soon half their fans would drop dead from the shock.

They showed the streaker getting it here on ESPN. The best parts were 1) the batsman didn't even look like he felt the hit and 2) they showed the indian bowler clapping after the streaker went down like a case of XXXX

Missed the game myself (you know things to do, people to see) but had a good chuckle when a mate told me about the streaker getting dropped.

I work with a bunch of Indians. They were really happy about the win. They have been teaching me the rules of the cricket for a few years now. I keep trying to get them to record a match for me. I'd like to see it. I be I am the only native inthe USA that's the least bit interested.

India winning the cricket could be the catalyst for the building of a new, young team, Coops. India did it with teen age players and all our old bastards are retiring after a good job for many years. All dynasties fall eventully.

Bring on the new, I say.

It's not good when one team dominates a game for so long, like Australia has in cricket. About time another country put up a decent show.

What goes around, comes around Hooks. Remember when the Windies were the team to beat? And before that, the likes of Lillee, Thommo,Walters and Chappel. Everyone gets their go. I dont care who wins, its just fun to watch UNTIL: they become a bunch of prima donnas, and they all seem to be like that now.

True, true.

Ahh, the glory days of test cricket. The mid-late 70s, with the Windies, Australia, and England, all fighting it out.

They were the days of real cricket, hook/rumbaba. I still like cricket but I find the prima donnas that play now are a bit over the top about their role in society. It is still only a game - a bloody good game - but still a game, sadly mainly designed to make money for some bastard these days.

Same thing happened to VFL football. TV stuffed it all up.

GO BUNNIES. GO SAINTS.

I don't watch AFL religiously like I do with the NRL but I did just watch Carlton go down. So much for the new messiah! Juddy wasn't to bad.....it was all the fellas around him.

Was great to see Carlton go down the gully trap, Coops.

OK, time to revive this post cos it looks like THE SAINTS are just about to win their second grand final since thrashing the pointy arsed Magpies in 1966.
