Hello, please allow me to introduce myself

I'm vajravarahi. I just joined this cool forum, though I've been reading this and some other forums for a while. In the last couple of years I've developed a strong interest in the noble craft and Art of distilling. All theoretical of course.

I love reading everyone's posts, seeing their ideas, as well as their excellent tinkering skills. About the only tinkering I do is turn the dial on the hot plate.

A nearby farmer has a nice orchard and I'd like to try my hand at an apple eau-de-vie some day. And if I was ever to take up serious adventurers, the American tradition of whiskey would be something worth exploring.

Until those days happen I just tinker with a green herbal liquor called absinthe.
