What was in the box, was a set of shed Moose antlers. For someone who has only seen whitetail deer (and a couple mule deer, and a few elk), these things are pretty huge.

I figured these would be trivial for some of our family from the great white north, but here in corn country, there aint nary a moose to be had. We got shit loads of deer (Some areas are getting up to 150 to 180 animals per square mile, and that WAY too high of a concentration number), but no moose, and only the rouge elk every couple years.
We do finally have a few mountain lions showing up, which I guess it would be hard to keep them out forever, with all that deer flesh on the hoof.
I just thought it was a strange thing to have arrive (that the wife bought, not me), in a friken huge box on the front porch.
