Wonder if he got it from the site i'm looking at now on how to tune my oven thermostat down for drying malt, see the same one there.

There is NO reason for you to change or get rid of it. There is nothing wrong, or obscene about it. It is just so darn realistic, in it's movement. I think it is funny, that it (a simple avatar) has generated this thread. But, dam, the thing does actually look real, and moves like a bug.

I fell for it, but looking that real and fooling so many I think it should stay.. I'm used to seeing the little bugger already :D

I think the only "better" bug avatar for this site, would be one or 2 of those drunkard gnats, lol. Those are mandatory around my fermenters, and would probably get swatted off my laptop.

I think those gnats must be some form of minor demons, which Beelzebub somehow casts down to earth to harass home brewers. The damn things seem to literally arise right from the fumes of hell, about 2 hours after firing up the fermenter.

15 gallon pot still, 2"x18" column with liebeg condensor on propane.
Modified Charles 803 w/ 50gal boiler, never ran so far.
