i wonder who did this film? the parts with the still in it were not the same as the outside working footage. the condencer had a pretty rough solder job on the end, plus ya never seen the actual working rig....looks kinda hokie to me one thing for sure thats a bunch of plastic...echhh

I don't think the Colonel would be impressed.
I reckon it's a backwoods spring water bottling outfit overlaid with a couple of pictures of one of the Colonels finest to fit the song.

yep.......as far as i know they was botteling water i never seen a still, the whole setup could be fake :?:

looks safe to drink, ive seen people handeling Nitric acid with thiner gloves.. :shock:

altho the copper pipe with liquid coming out of it did look like an oversized condensor..
filling a carboy, then being transferd to the 200L plastic drum..
and here was no shortage of plastic..

with footage like this, the law can claim safty as a reason why home distilling should not be allowed.. :!:

Don't kid yourselves guys, after watching a few episodes of The Thirsty Traveler you'll see lots of silicone hoses used in commercial distilleries worldwide. I think there might be a certain grade of hose available that's impervious to high % but without information it's better to stay away from it.

All the small commercial distillery videos i've seen on utube and such use plastic all over the shop. Buckets, drums, pipes, bottles, you name it.
There's obviously little regulation on it.
