wanted something nice and compact like a liebig, but a worm just seems to work so much better.
so in order to get a coil small enough to package, I'd have to go with 3/8" OD soft copper. but on a keg that isn't going to be nearly large enough diameter, so I figured two.
Bought a 25' coil of 3/8 od copper, cut it in half and did a double coil about 4" in diameter and 18" long, and will be going into a 5"diameter piece of stainless tube.
Hoping that this will do the job.
I'll take some pics once I'm a little further along in construction.

Re: Double Helix Worm
This sounds like a good plan. How are you going to split the vapor to go into both pieces?

I'll have to give it a try, see whats what, I've always got the liebig to to put inline if it doesn't knock the vapors down well enough.
