Suddenly Swamped With Work

Post by mjdtexan »

For about the last 7 to 8 months the work had been slow. I am not really trying to do much work, I just like to do tractor work with 10 to 15 miles around my house. Here lately for the past week I have just been swamped. I've managed to fill in the next 2½ weeks with steady work. Its getting to the point where it may be worth putting one of the ole tractors on a trailer and start getting serious about it. Heck, I'm in my 40's, trying to slow down. I guess if this is all I have to complain about I should just be happy, huh?

The only bad thing is I have to put off a BBQ cookoff I had planned for this weekend. I do that at least once a month anyway and sometimes more.

I see that guy all the time. I've spoken to him twice, he apologized the first time I saw him after that. I gave him a side by side refridgerator two days ago. I guess he needed it cause his little girls were really happy to get it. I did tell him that I wont be coming on days its apparent he's drinking. I told him no hard feelings but I just can do without the drama. I close my gates constantly, so I dont really get traffic but on occasion I like to get on the tractor or take one of the Cordobas out and just see what my neighbors are up to.

So, its all good.
