hey guys, just a quick question. i use a simple sugar wash. 3lbs of sugar, 1 gallon water, and TURBO yeast. i know people dont say use turbo yeast but bakers yeast is hard to find for me so i deal with it ( the biggest pain is using the activated carbon)
anyway, i made my mash, and let if ferment for 5 days, put a clearing agent in it on the 5th day and was going to distill it two days after on the 7th day. well i got stuck working the weekend and didnt get around to distilling it until today.about 14 days later.
i distilled it today, threw away the first 2 shots ( normal shot glasses) and collected my cuts. they came out to 100 proof. they taste fine. i just wanna double check with you guys. see what you think.

shouldn't be a problem. you'd know all about it when you opened the lid if it went 'bad'.

Very unlikely to go bad if it hasn't been disturbed too much acid and CO2 in the wash.
Try cutting your Turbo yeast packet in half, cheaper and a cleaner wash. I use alcotec 48 when doing turbo ferment.
5 kgs sugar half a packet turbo make up to 20l in the fermenter (someone posted this a while back works well)
