Double Cooling Liebig Design

Post by xx7777xx »

So I just finished my new condenser build and I thought I’d share a few pics. I decided to go with a triple wall Liebig design.

I added some bends in the inner pipe to create turbulence for the inner water jacket as well as the vapor path. I also used a stub to make inserting the 90 into the 3/4 pipe easier and then used a coupler to connect it.

Here is a picture before the added the out cooling jacket.

And this is the final condenser.

I haven't got a chance to try it out yet, but will report back once I get a chance to try it out. I'm hoping this piece should be able to handle quite a bit of the power that my propane burner can throw at it during stripping runs.
