I just finished fermenting a 6 gallon batch of all malted barley, but I'm not sure what the best way is to separate it out to run in the still? With 2lbs of barley per gallon it doesn't seem like you could get all the liquid with racking? Should I not be fermenting with the barley still in the fermenter or is there something other than racking to separate it?
