Perfect use for turboyeast.

Post by Nightforce »

I found the perfect use for turbos. I scorched a batch of corn and not wanting to waste it, decided to run it out for camp stove fuel or cleaner. Since I won't be drinking it, viola, pitch the turbo.

It seems to be working off the sugar as we speak and I'm sure I'll muck up future runs, so I'll use up the rest of the turbo I have(which was 2 sachets).

That's the ticket. I tried using distillers turbo yeast in the winter months in my basement. It was a low sugar rum wash and it came out OK, not great but OK. I think some of the off flavors come from high % ABV wash attempts.
