First time running my new setup. After distilling the Bourbon, how long should it age in the wooden cask - is there a minimum?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Bourbon: Timing
Hi Paperstone, Firstly, welcome.
I would suggest you do a search, and also provide more information. How big is the cask? How much bourbon have you made? Did you make the bourbon with a sour mash, or did you make a neutral spirit then flavour?
There is a section on flavouring and ageing.

Re: Bourbon: Timing
about 30-40 days per us gallon (4L) so if the cast is 5gal (21l) it whould take about 6 mo, a year for a 10 etc..
