Welcome aboard.

What rig did you purchase?

I get the feeling she would take your money, not do much for you, leave you feeling shitty, and still manage to give you a trip to the health department.

Hope your luck is better than mine Jdub. I got a pile of crap from Turbo Stomper a few weeks ago.
Please don't let that ruin your desire to learn the art of Distillation. I'm new around here too, and let me tell you that you will learn so much by reading the forums. If had read first and bought later I could have saved myself some of my hard earned cash. This forum is a wealth of information. You'll find some real nice designs that the guys here have made. If I had been a bit more handy I would have made my own. I did however finally end up with a still that I know will function good enough. ( Found a local buddy who's been using one just like it for sveral years, checked out the finished product etc.)
I didn't buy the same model that you did from Turbo Stomper, so maybe you'll be OK. I bought the venom combo and I honestly had to throw out everything except the cheap pot. Even the lid was ruined because he punched a hole in it, then a piece of corklike stuff and then a black piece of pipe fitting spray painted copper. The copper paint scraped right off, ,the soldering was terrible--oh and weather stripping to make the seal between the lid and pot! ugh, makes my blood pressure spike everytime I think about that stupid "still"
I've got my fingers cross that you will get something usable--but please look it over real careful when you finally get it. If something doesn't look right check it out here.
Sadly these guys here have seen alot of us come to this forum after buying from Turbo Stomper or one of his other websites.
Again good luck to you and welcome.
