Howdy All!

I'm looking to get started making my own product, and am doing as much reading as possible. I am wanting to purchase a still, but I'm concerned about buying the wrong one. I will be reading through the various posts in the next few days, and am open to any advice anyone might have for me. I'm in the Appalachian mountains, in the USA, so this kind of thing should come naturally to me.

Welcome Shawver. There's a loooong thread in here about what not to buy. Read it before spending a single penny. There are some crooks out there.

Welcome aboard.

If you have the construction skills of a 7 year old you can build your own and honestly a 7 year old could build a better still then a lot of the rigs for sale.

Welcome to the boards shawverscrossing. Building my own still not only gave me the beverage I wanted, but it also got to use skills I
had'nt used since metal work class. Now. I'm adicted to copper and building with it.
It really is'nt that hard...

As Blanik said, read that thread before you part with your cash. Don't get ripped off if you do fork out....
