I have one of his rigs.
I bought it when I got started and didn't know anyone or anything about distilling. I had not found this forum yet and it is how I got started. I had to rebuild the still I got from him and it is the still I used for my first runs. I have built several stills since then. I'm no expert but I think you may be where I once was. If this is where you're at and you'd like to ask some questions send me a PM.
As was pointed out earlier, this guy and the associates he has had over the years are not looked upon in a favorable light. Search the forum and you will find a weeks worth of reading on the grief people have experienced.
