found a 120 litre, all copper Saxon hot water tank

Being that it was a hot water heater I would assume it would have to be lead free just like everything else used in potable water stuff. I wouldn't worry about it. There are other people I have seen on here that use hot water heater tanks.

Haven't physically seen it but it is cheap as chips, the only concern I have is would it contain lead in the solder joints being a hot water tank?

Would it be safe to use? I am thinking of getting it and then testing it for lead once I have it. If it's got lead in it sell it for scrap metal and cut my losses.

Any thoughts?

Electronic cut off time online. Try and get your bid in at the last second so as not to contribute to the auction frenzy that often drives up the price.
And like goose said, don't get caught up in the frenzy.
