Allergies and Cuts

Post by ScottishBoy »

Hi All,
Just had the experince of a lifteime when I lost all hearing in my left ear. Some of it is coming back and we think we have it pinpointed to a weed pollen allergy. I cant take regular allergy medicines because I tend to end up in the hospital with cluster headaches. But that brings me to a question:
Anyone here ever have difficulty making cuts when your allergies are in full swing?

That sounds pretty scary. Hope you get better soon.

50 years worth of cigarettes has diminished my sense of smell and taste to the point that I have to call on the wife to help with cuts.

Went to the docs this AM. He said "lets wait a bit and see what happens." Seems I have a pretty good reaction some weed thats in season now. But the good news is that I have almost 25% of my hearting back...now everything s just kind "Mmmmmpf, mmmpf, mmmm,,,mmmmpfffff"

The problem is I went to make a few cuts last night to distract myself and I was having trouble smelling it and my taster was off. Anyone else get this?

I struggle in winter when my nose is invariably blocked from spending too much time in cold yet awesome places. I also have problems when my lips get cracked from spending too much time in the snow - then everything burns and you're stuck with taste alone. I just don't cut in winter.

Glad to hear things are getting better. Hopefully the impending storms will wash that pollen right out of the area. On topic, I have had tasting problems making cuts while sick but I collected in smaller than usual amounts for easier blending later, and used the middle jar, cut with honey, for medcin

I've had a LOT of practice at having no style.

I got a shit load of pines on my property and spring time can be a real challenge.

Got roughly half my hearing back in my left ear but it seems to have stopped getting better. I have been watching the pollen counts and the weed count in my area is :

Ran through some of the bad over wood last night and cut down with dog. Better. The wood really killed the sweet aftertaste.
