My first ferments and their success! My choices were Rad's “All Bran” (I used Total cereal) and also Wino's sugar wash. I would like to add to the long list of thank you's for the effort put into these “Tried & True” recipes. I followed the instructions and got the results,..... very encouraging for a newbie soon to be distiller.
I have started 2 more 20L washes of the same two recipes. The only change I made was a yeast substitution of Red Star bakers yeast instead of Fleshmans bakers yeast to Rad's recipe. The Red Star yeast for the first 24 hours seemed more active, if that's possible. I found myself drinking beer and being entertained by the airlock going off!
The photo shows Wino's on the left and Rad's on the right after being racked once. Now I have something to test drive my new still with. Cheers, O'Mahony

LWTCS, my new still is a Boka design. The first Boka drawing shown on the parent site. A 2" column with an inline 3" condenser setting in a 3X2" reducing coupler - collection reservoir.
