UJSSM+French Oak=?

Post by Beerswimmer »

I stripped and then spirit ran 10 gals of UJSSM yesterday and ended up keeping just a little less than a half gallon of product. I have no idea what the abv is since my darling wife broke my alcometer. So I topped it up with water and went looking for my wood. All I have is toasted French oak for my rum, sooo..... we'll see what happens! Any predictions?

If it's nasty I'll just add it to the feints jug.

I also have access only to french oak at the moment and it comes out pretty well.

There are some rum barrels origen Virgen Islands in EC which I want to get hands on.
