Hello all,
I’ve invested no time or effort to develop a new wash agitation system. The benefits are
Micro agitation of wash causing no impact on yeast growth
A consistent wash colour and performance
A slight temp increase at no cost
Adds a food source of sorts
Easy to separate from wash on racking
Oops forgot to mention what is...the Aussie summer mosquito larvae that have taken up residence in my bloody rain water tank this year!
cheers
dave

Re: wash agitation system
Sure, that's good in theory but consider that when the ABV % rises in your wash all those mosquitos will get drunk and start looking for a fight. You might be their victim.

might as well let maggots thrive on cuts of beef with the theory that it'll make the meat more tender.

Perhaps the Aussie sense of humor is a little dry.
