/b/ is 4chan.com. It's the internets waste dump. But has a bunch of hackers that can bring down any site. /r/ is reddit.com. Its a classy/ legal version of 4chan.
Tattoos you say! I have a full Halloween sleeve, a half anime sleeve, full chest piece of tree in different seasons, rib piece of my step moms name in pink ribbon and a crappy tattoo of a piece of paper on fire.....

Well i got a few tattoos of my own, been in the industry tattooing and being tattooed for about 10 years.

Ive got an almost full sleeve and alot of work on the other one... It's mostly oldschool american work, so i can easily mix an match em and it still looks good.

I like the way traditional american tattoos look and the fact that you dont necessarily need a specific pattern so you can just add as you go, although some of the early tattooists were way ahead of their time and did different stuff than the usual rose or skull and crossbones.

I've got too many tats to list but they're mostly family related.

And Ditto on everything condensificator said in an earlier post. We can't stress people enough to be safe and make sure that they are not getting tattooed by some kitchen magicicans. Sad to say but here in Canada, there are many places without any regulations and alot of people still get tattooed by very unprofessional (sometimes even fucking crackheads) so called "tattooists". And now with the big tattoo trend on TV, and the availability of cheap ass "tattoo kits" on ebay, everybody think they can be a Tattoo Artist. I've apprenticed for 2 years before actually tattooing on my own and built most of my tattoo equipment (machines, power supply) and let me tell you, they ain't made outta walkman motors, guitar strings and bent forks.

That said, there isn't any cadmium nor dead beatles or whatnot in my ink composition, so nobody has to worry about it

Most reputable tattooing suppliers nowadays will have the ingredients listed on their bottle. I think I've seen some inks with warnings about "heavy metals" but i mean, do your reaserch and get some that doesn't have them in it. If i'm not mistaking, i think its the state of California, they HAVE to have a surgeons general warning sticker on them just to be safe since not every ink company uses safe materials.

Nowadays, breathing air in the city is as cancergenic as smoking cigarettes full time, so if you don't live deep in the woods (which isn't much safer with all the acid rain and pollutants in the air) i wouldn't worry about tattoo ink that much.

i got homemade tats while i was in my teens, and some store bought in my early 20s. i retired at age 50, from a 25 year career in firefighting. tats were ok for this type of job.
to pass my time, ive been coaching at the high school level for the last few years(for free) and i tell yall, i feel out of place with tats. think about this before yall get tattoed up. i should have listened to my mom. :egeek:
