It all depends on my mood at the time.

A bit of 80's rock, some 'big band', a 'little' C&W (not much). Tonight it will probably be 80's Rock :D

Colour me jealous!

Here's something some folks might like - The Veils. I guess you could call them an indie rock band, but that's not very specific. Some of their stuff reminds me a little of some new 'country' bands. My flatmate went to school with the singer, they're one of my favourite NZ bands (of this generation at least). They're fantastic live, I've never seen a singer get more into the performance than Finn.

An enduring favourite of mine. Other great tracks from them include (but are not limited to) Flyswatter, I Like Birds, That Fresh Feeling, and Mr E's Beautiful Blues.

Actually, that last one deserves a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gIFm5ea ... re=related" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow . Fantastic juxtaposition of a cheery track with some dark, dark lyrics.

Sitting here listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU-l7szkBXc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow with a big pot of gumbo on the stove for the yung'uns. Have a little down time for a couple days -- like to kinda "get small" when I get a few to myself.

Awesome guitar play -- heard some of this live down in NO over the last couple days. Aint nothing better than sitting and listening to someone (in this case a fine ass chick) grind it out as you enjoy your company and strong drink.

Chick lookin like she feelin it down deep.

Everything ! I finally got an iPhone and it has a music app called pandora . I love it. You can listen toall types of music. It has an all bluegrass channel. Just plug in some speakers and let it rip. I really am starting to love the banjo. Buy nothing more scary than to hear banjo music in the woods!
