New Zealand mine explosion

Post by blanikdog »

We have many members from NZ in the forum and I extend my sympathy to all who suffered by this disaster and to NZ generally. Hopefully it is not a direct tragedy to any of our members.

May the miners rest in peace.
Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon)

Horrible news. Say what you want about lumberjacking or deep sea fishing or any other risky occupation, nothing would make the hairs on my neck stand up more than being a deep earth miner.

The All Blacks are wearing white armbands in memoriam. Somehow that makes perfect sense.
If stupidity got us into this mess, then why can't it get us out?

I was hoping and praying for a Chilean finish. Sadly it didn't work out that way.
