spook, the reason it is off is due to it being a conduit for porn folks. If we turned it on for u, it would be on for all.
The way it is a problem is it allows anyone to simply get a junk email address, sign up here, and never have to post, but to USE the site to simply send pm's and email's. It is a technique that is widely known within the porn circles (kiddie porn also), and when they find an 'open' forum allowing it, they quietly let their whole circle of ppl know.
One HUGE problem, is the site allowing it to happen is also held responsible/liable. Thus, it is not and will not be allowed.
