Chatt, TN. Hi Ya'll

Post by Despotic »

I should have introduced myself sooner but I suck at doing this... here go's anyway,
My name is Craig and I live in Chattanooga, TN. I've been using a 20qt pot still with a thumper for some time now, trying out different recipes and getting the feel for the still.
I've had some good run's and a bunch of bad one's. I've been studing this site like a bible and have learned alot. Thank's to all the people here.
I always try my best to find the answers to my questions here using the search function but there are times when I'll just have to ask a really stupid questiona so don't give up on me when I do. :)
I'm planning on building a boka slant plate in the near future and will post pics as soon as it's complete.
Again, Thanks guy's. This site is the best.

Craig.

Welcome Craig - the people on this site are great, aren't they? Always a helping hand when you need it. When you get a chance, pick up 'The Compleat Distiller' and Making Corn Whiskey - great books to read for those times when a PC isn't handy....good luck!

Welcome Craig. The Boka will serve you well for making neutrals. That was my first build and I made a pot head later. Each has its place.

Keep your eye out for a keg. I guarantee you'll want to upgrade from your 20 qt boiler real soon.

Thank you for your kind words, despotic. It isn't often that mods and mentors receive copliments. In my instance it's usually critisism for being too 'gruff', but I take full responsibility for that and my bad behaviour should never include other mods. Thank you.
Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
