I am thinking about using an old copper hot water heater for a still. It is constructed out of everdur, which is made up of copper 96%, silica 4% and maganese 1%. Does anyone have any info on any potential negative effects of the maganese or silica in a still?
thanks

Probably better material for a boiler than pure copper because of its corrosion resistance.
