Big Tomatoes???
2 years ago I dumped all my old left over mash from wine, ect, makings into the flower bed hoping to kill it all off, But that fall I dug it up and had gladeo bulbs the size of my hand, Last year I dump it and stuff like sweet feed into my garden, well this year I have tomatoes the all weight from 1 to 2 lbs. each, very sweet , Whats going on with this stuff, anyone else done this, Thanks for reading

It is possible that your soil is on the alkaline side and by dumping the acidic backwash on it you are adjusting the soil ph to something the plants like better. Also the spent grains etc. will break down in the soil, kind of like a compost, and act as a plant nutrient.

it makes great mulch.iv put it between the rows.keeps the weeds down and then its tilled in the next year.
