Just reporting in after a quick three day business trip to the French Quarter. Bourbon street is alive and well. The bars are rocking and the girls are beautiful. I swear it was all business.
Hey guys. I see the Vodka bid thread above. I will bid. Do we need to be reminded to contribute? Come on! One of us is going to pay a hundred dollars or more for that vodka. If everybody just contributes ten or twenty bucks once and awhile the costs of running this site will be covered. Yes, I throw out a challenge. $1, $5. $10 ???? Who’s in?
When people contribute (if using paypal), then be SURE to use a note, and list what your user ID / HD nickname, is. There have been some contributions which we have not been able to find, to provide attribution (a nice 'donor' golden jacket, for your nick).

Hillbilly Rebel: Unless you are one of the people on this site who are legalling distilling, keep a low profile, don't tell, don't sell.
Damn MR wish when I was working I had your type of business trips. I did finally get a hold of my neighbor and purchased a bunch of gifts from your trade as gifts to give to friends and relatives on my trip. Thought I would have a lot of space on the way home in my luggage but my wife obviously had other plans!
PS will make another donation when I pay off this trip I'm on.

I love the French Quarter. It is beautiful there. The trip wasn’t as much fun as it sounds. It was a quick recon trip to see my representation there. Then I missed a flight connection in Atlanta on the way home and sat in the airport bar for three hours waiting for the next flight. ($9 for a short shot) My girlfriend had to pick me up at SeaTac at 2AM then get up at 5AM to go to work.
I am sure you will have a few travel nightmare stories. Traveling does require patience.
