My stepdad would sit down in the basement and play and sing this over and over.

BD,

The colour is not important, it is the content that matters. So ... yes, they must be!

Okay, Andre Hazes, a medley, just to get him introduced to you. From Amsterdam's "Jordaan" district. Folk singer. Music & songs in "Jordaan" style that exists for over a hundred years now. Songs mostly about why life is throwing so much sh*t at you. "Why did you run away with my best friend?", "Why did I get drunk in a bar again?" That kinda stuf. Nostalgia for me. Well, the music, that is. :problem:

Red Hot Chili Peppers is good.

I listen to pretty much everything. Mostly country and rock. I think there is good and bad music in every genre.

Just listened to it and it is interesting when I googled the words to the song everyone's interpretation. Liked the music not sure I agree with the interpretations completely as I think a lot of people are reading too much into the words!

I am all over the map music wise... I guess for me it depends on my mood.

I like classic rock, harder rock, metal, industrial, EDM, psychedelic rock, jam bands, older hip/hop, even some country. I guess there is not any genre of music I can say I dislike, as no matter what the genre, I can always seem to find one or two examples of songs I like. Well that's not true, I dislike Emo and Shoegazing type music...
