Hey guys.
My English is not bad as long as I don't have to read or write (Dyslexia is a b**ch).
So i was wondering if you guys could help me put together a dictionary of sorts.(abbreviation and terms). I would like to put together something like an Encyclopedic Distillica.
I've been going through the topics and of course the main page collecting info but all help is much appreciated.
I'll just start with some basics like:
CM--Cooling manegment
VM--Vapor manegment
LM--Liquid manegment
For the different still, cooling and heating, designs I'm thinking of using pictures, personally I learn by doing and seeing making it much easer for people to see what the difference is.
If you have something you would like to contribute I'll try to make something that I'm proud off.
**EDIT.
It might sound like I'm going to publish a book that's not it. This is mainly thought of to help with the vocabulary that still confuses me, and maybe others, after all my reading.

Re: Distilling vocabulary
I finally found out what VM means by reading this post!! Thanks IceStiller.
Has the "Abbreviation notebook" been uploaded somewhere? It would be really helpful for newbies like me.
Cheers.

Re: Distilling vocabulary
That glossary is really good and very helpful. I don't know how I could have missed it in the first place when I was browsing the wiki pages. I guess it's like not finding milk in the fridge.
If it's ok with the site moderators, I think I would like to edit the glossary in order to include a few abbreviations that appear to be missing (ex: MV, LM, CM, as mentioned by IceStiller).
(starting soldering 1st still later today... fingers crossed)

Somethings aren't easy to find or refind for us trying to look again. I have a word document that I put the links I want to save in if they are large like the glossary for quick finds and referencing otherwise I cut and paste into my internet file folder.Zedok wrote:That glossary is really good and very helpful.
