My Sons Science Project (Yes, Distilling Related)

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

My Sons Science Project (Yes, Distilling Related)

Post by Magic-Rat »

Well, it was his first attempt at distilling ... and he got an "A".

If he only knew what I just taught him. LOL.

When it starts out and you see motorcycles ... keep watching ... there is a point to it.

Click the link and let it "stream" for about 3 minutes ... then click "play" (my server is slow).

The Link: http://www.magicratvideos.com/magicvide ... o2011.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Enjoy.

Damn -- My 7yo daughters intro was holding the funnel while I charge the boiler. She told me not to spill any more on her. Kids

Nice vid -- cool project. One day he'll revisit this project with you on an adult level.

I can say as a retired school teacher that that was a great learning experience for your son. In our state we now have a culminating project in order to graduate from high school. It looks to me like that would have easily worked as a senior project. Enjoyed the video!

That was awesome! It just about brought tears to my eyes. I did nearly the same project in high school 30 years ago. Looks like you're gonna have a scientist or an engineer on your hands some day. :)

That was a hell of a learning experience for him. Good job.
