Stolen Pot Still (head)

Some inbred clown stole my pot still head out of my locked garage .I would like to swear a lot but cannot remember the forum rules on that. They also stole my mountain bike and tool box but that is secondary! Anyhow, I need to make another.

So when I say pot still head I had a detachable and swappable pot still and reflux head. I still have the reflux head so was after some design help with my next pot still head:

I would like to make rum and whiskey
The boiler is a 50(odd) litre SS keg normally first rum is 25 - 30 litres
3kw immersion heater

I will be working with copper and silver solder - hoping some advice on column height, column pipe width, cooling jacket size. Does not need to be perfect but some tried values would be welcome.

The previous column was about 70mm OD.

Thanks for your replies guys, some excellent ideas for the thieving bastards and for the new pot still. Unfortunately nothing has appeared through ebay, the local rag or the local pawn shop. I keep remembering items which I go to find and they are gone - 20L stock pot for boiling my mash, all my brewers tubing, tool box and my iodine for sanitization?????

I hope they drink the last one.

The tri-clamp setup that clamps onto the keg head is a great way forward. I'll get another SS keg as I chopped a large circle in my other one and build from there.

This could be a good chance to make my still properly this time.

I agree 100%! There is no room in our society for a thief! I work too damn hard for what I have to have some ass face come and take it!
If this person dies from Crotch Rot it would be too good for them!
