Hi guys,
Yesterday, I add distilled water to a 50 gallon barrel, plus 40 pounds of sugar , 7 pounds of cornmeal and a scoop of yeast at 100 F. Sealed the barrel and place an air lock kit on the top. As it right now, no signs in the air lock. Do you guys kindly have an idea whats going on? Should I wait till 6 to 10 days to place my mash onto the still??
What I my doing wrong?
