Has anyone tried using lemon curd as a shortcut to get around zesting a ton of lemons??

Thank You Blind Drunk!

I have two gallons of Lemoncello perking, I used 62% whitedog as the base. It seems like the quality of the lemons will make or break this drink.

Lemmon curd is made with cornflour and eggs so i would be dubious about using it.
Where has all the rum gone? . . .

I thought the egg would pass since it is often used as a clarifying agent. I might whip up a small bottle and let you know what I find out...maybe add one or two zested lemons, a couple tablespoons of curd and some sugar and let it sit in some 50% or so....?
