Don't take too long to order. These deals usually don't last much over 2 weeks.

Ordered both deals this AM (even though a have a humidor, it's too good to pass up). The PayPal charge is "pending" so I'm not sure what's going on. The Cohiba deal on their home page is also extremely enticing.

I pretty much buy all my cigars there. Problem is, there are a whole lot of extremely enticing deals. But these two are too good to pass up.

You could probably put the humidor on ebay and get your $29.99 back.

I was thinking that but it looks way nicer than the one I have. I like the clear glass and the hygrometer on the outside. My current one I have to open to check the humidity.

It looks like a good deal.... but the real trouble is that its impossible to verify that you're actually getting the real goods and not knockoffs.

At worst you get a humidor for it

Personally i'm a fan of the Romeo and Juliet #1; I usually pick up a box or two every time i'm in Cuba 8)

CI probably sells more cigars than any other company in the US... it's legit... I've never heard of counterfeits besides Cubans

On closer examination, you're correct the Cohiba isn't real its a DR.

Been dealing with CI for 5-6 years. They are top notch, probably #1 seller in US. I'm not worried about knock offs.

It's real, it's just not rolled in Cuba. Nothing that you can get US legally is from Cuba. It's the one available in the US, and yes it is rolled in the Dominican from Cuban seed.

If you go to the cigar description it spells that out. They are not trying to deceive you.

Yup, I hadn't intended to imply anything shady; Just that it wasn't what I thought from my first look. It makes sense they would sell the DR version, since as you say they cannot sell the CU.

I don't live in the USA so access to cuban cigars is very easy

My original concern with the deal is that it seems to be a very low price, it seems odd for quality at that quantity.

I'd definitely be interested to hear how things turn out for those who ordered :)

They are very good and well worth the price. Most of these cigars sell anywhere from $5-$10 each.

I wish that bold part was true for me. I have a good friend who works for one of the airlines, he gets me some real Cubans periodically.

I know a bunch of people who have ordered these over the years and all have been very pleased.

you can buy cubans online.... there are reputable sources.. when I got mine they were labeled as "cigars" on the label that went through customs... They didn't bother messing with the couple boxes I had ordered..

I have smoked cigars for years and have done plenty of business with that website. I just wanted to vouch for the value of both of the original deals posted. None of the cigars are the kind that will blow your hair back but all are quality sticks. Both deals are a great way for a new cigar smoker to try several different marcas.

The glass top humidor is probably not too great and remember if you buy it it needs to be seasoned or it will suck all the moisture from your sticks. The sticks are worth the price without the humi though.

As far as the CC's available on the internet. There are a few reputable dealers that ship to the US but I have had cigars confiscated and gotten the dreaded letter from customs. Valued my three not so high dollar boxes at $1500. I didn't get a fine or anything because it was my first offense but beware that it can happen.

To the guy that paid with Pay pal. It is their policy to not allow tobacco purchases. It may go through and it might not.

I didn't think about it. Did you order both specials at the same time? That is possibly it. They are both seperate intro offers and it's possible that could have locked it up for some reason. I would call.
