Howdy yall

Im new, sort of, to distilling. Cept fer what granddaddy tole me. Building my first still now. Hope to learn alot from y'all and enjoy my new, (hiccup), hobby.

Welcome neighbor... I thank they have a hard time understandin us here. But it works jes fine. People here from all over tha world... lots ta learn here... be sure ta read tha rules, read tha new distillers readin lounge, then read tha safety thread... mos all yer first questions can be answered thare. Where bouts youns frum? Not particular, jes generally??? Welcome neighbor....

I've always really liked listening to different dialects. It is sort of a fascination of mine, kind of a game I've always played. I try to determine what region someone is from by listening to the words that are said. Within Arkansas there are about 7-8 different dialects, southern Missouri has a few too...

Daaem, you are from wayz down thar, I'm up in tha mountains, way up north but welcome anywaz neighbor. Lots ta read here. These boys know what thar talkin bout. Some of its way over my head, but I've still learnt ta make some damn good stuff with thar help. Jes be sure ta try ta find out herself by searchin before ya ask. Ifn ya can't find it, then ask. Marsh walker, how far down ner you live. I work outta new Iberia, all time round fourchon and Venice. Ain't never drank no swill, zat sumpin ya make with crawfish.

I'm between Fourchon and Venice... I aint got da slightest clue what a "swill maker" is... i guess da name changes under ya title after yer here a while or sometin.. i jus noticed it yestaday and looked it up and all i could find is a bunch abot basket makin... :wtf: :lol:

Thanks, actually that's where I've read most at so far, don't need my shed burnt down, take too long for my wife to get over that one for sure..
