Damn airlines

Well here is a classic airline mess! My son is flying home yesterday( haven' seen him in a yr)well he is on his way to airport and gets his text, flight delayed 1/2hr even before he gets there, well gets out of LA. Gets to Atlanta just makes the plane, gets to Detroit,oh your plane left 5 min ago, after I also drive 1 hr to the airport he is flying into, well they did say they would get him a room, then told him everything was full, so he slept at airport, his flight out is at noon now, but damn ya think after booking a flight 6 mounths in advance things would go a little smoother! I have flown quite a bit and have had the same issues and it seems to be the same airlines.

We fly a lot and some airlines aren't worth the savings they claim. Also a lot of hidden costs in some of the fares if your not paying attention when booking on line!

Did they add insult to injury by saying it wasnt their fault? Its always the weather's fault. Just as a side note: who did he piss off to get routed thru atlanta when going from la to detroit?

Not Cali. He came out of Lafayette, LA. I know more than 90% of the flights I have to taken Florida hit the Atlanta hub,that airport,O'Hare,and Houston have been the worst I have been in as far as schedules.

Airlines just another scam company that we put up with. And do nothing about. Because they are needed. I rank them right up there with insurance and medical companies. All of which will screw you without a reach around. And you can't do anything about it.
