UK Supplier details for 3" copper, please

I'd like to build a refractionating column, prob around 1m high.
Has anyone got any supplier details for the wide copper tubing, tees and caps (3") in the UK? I've had a look but cannot find any.

You can get it but will probably need to buy a 3m length. Most plumbers merchants or online from somewhere like mytub http://www.mytub.co.uk/shop_display_pro ... %20and%20Y

alternatively you can sometimes get it by the foot on e-bay but it works out expensive and the fittings are even more so. It is a lot cheaper if you use 54mm instead. Have a look here for comparison of fittings and tube http://www.bes.co.uk/

Myles has already linked you to about the only supplier I've found - My Tub ...hope you've got deep pockets!

You might find 76mm pipe if you trawl your local 'metal recycling centres', aka scrap yards, but you'll still need the fittings unless you're a pretty adept copper-smith.

Last year I shared a 3M length of 4" with another member here on the UK...

Don't see why it couldn't work for 3"... Ask around the forum, never know, you may just get lucky...

ps: BTW, BES are fairly cheap for their 2" and fittings compared to others... Thank again myles...
