My brother had a Ducati 750 desmodromo. Older style racing bike. From the 1980's. Fantastic!

BBBBQ is the end of next month. Already got the week off. Ready for it to get here. My son just blew his bike up this morning. So I don't know what we are going to do about that? But those pics were us running around Arkansas before BBBBQ 6 years ago. Our 2nd year going. Haven't missed a year since. Our camp site is reserved for us every year. With a pile of fire wood waiting.

Oh I have plenty of room to bring my own now. I traded up for that trip last year. Ittle bitty trailer for a well bigger one.

A lot nicer when 5 people and three bikes are involved. And I'm well rested when I get there. So we can get more of the site seeing riding in. Yes I'm getting old.

After a good hard long look. I did notice the bottle. But I was quite distracted from it. And pretty much forgot I saw it.

Maybe. We get there either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. And stay till Sunday afternoon. Ride all day Wednesday and Thursday. Check out the goings on Friday and Saturday. Or what ever we feel like at the time.

That sounds like fun. I would love to do something like that.

The big trailer was a new addition last year. The first year my oldest son could ride himself. So we could take all three boys on the bike trip. It was bad enough packing down two bikes for me and the wife. I couldn't have packed down 3 bikes for 5 people for a week. So the new trailer came into the pic. Loaded up the three bikes all the camping gear + gas grill and big coolers. We slept in the trailer and the kids slept in tents. It was a good trip. Great getting to share it with the kids for once. Gearing up to do it again the end of next month. Just got to figure out what the oldest son will be riding?

OK...that is BAD ASS! How long does it take to train a raptor? Do you raise them from chicks? And do we have to see the poor bunny rabbit staring at us from between that bad mf'ers claws?!?

Wow...that is impressive. I'm a huge fan of the Ewan Macgregor/Charley Boorman ride documentaries...can't imagine doing that with no follow team. Of course, you Aussie's are made of pretty stern stuff!
Always wanted to ride all over Oz and NZ...maybe someday.

Yeah that is why there is so much gear. The outback is vast and there is no-one out there bar some other nomads.
You need to be able to fix any clusters without any assistance, think about getting a flat or a mechanical breakdown.
You could easily wait a week to see another 4x4 in many places.
BMWs like Boorman's have issues dealing with the sand dunes.

On my ipad I coulda swore you were riding one of those garden trains...I just looked closer and it looks like you're on a bike going around a corner(?). Looks like a big one too!

Oxbo--I don't know jack about boats. Is that so you can get in and out of particular spots? You go after a lot of fish in the shallows or what?
It's Honda Goldwing, Frostee.

Pic was taken on the Dragon @ Deals Gap (US 129 @ TN/NC border), 318 curves in 11 miles (it's only 45 minutes from the house). It's a great road to ride if ya don't act stupid. Two riders have been killed up there already this year. Like I said, if ya don't act stupid.
