Outdoor wood furnaces

Post by MuleKicker »

Anyone here run an outdoor wood furnace? Ive been doing it for 5 years now. Just bought a Central Boiler E classic 1450 gassifier. Looks like its gonna be the shit. Wasnt cheap, but should cut my wood consumption down by alot, as the unit i was running isnt very efficient. Anybody have any experience with the central boiler e series?

I've thought about going that route for a few years but never made the plunge. I only have access to construction debris, so it's never seemed worth it to me. If I was a tree guy (again) I'd be all for it.

I have a nephew who has been using a Central Boiler for at least 10 years. It does a great job of heating both the house and their hot water. He is really happy with it.

I got access to about all the wood I need. Been shoveling wood by the cord into my old trusty for years. Time to upgrade to a super efficent model. At least thats what they say.... Im going to be damn bummed if this thing dont live up to my expectations. From what Ive read, its all that and a bag of chips.
