sweet feed

ok well i got my still design and ready to build. all i was wondering is i want to make a sweet feed wash but i cant find completly additive free sweet feed is it safe to drink or should i just throw the idea out the window and go with i different recipe

there will nearly always be some kinda additive to the sf mix [ aborbic acid, prop. acid etc.] what you wanta avoid is the pallets, there usally roughage of some kind, if you get the sf without the pellets give it a shot.

Thanks guys . i already knew about the pellets from reading on here . i was just a little weirie about the aadditive parts i can get whole grain sweet feed at the ol' local co-op farm store not sure how much but its a pretty big bag so she should make quite a few batches so i can prefect the wash were i have yet to ferment any thing yet. but i have been researching for a whie now (couple months) so i should make out alright. Thanks again Sites awesome one stop shop for information
