Welcome to HD.
Just so you're clear: Heat Source >>> Pot >>> Stillhead/Tower >>> Condensor/WormDeep In The Woods wrote:ill put copper tubing off of the condensor down into a worm with ice and hopefully drip into glass container .... does that sound good for starts ?...
Find you a stainless steel beer keg. I pulled mine out of the woods that someone had dumped there years ago. Remove the center post. Viola!Deep In The Woods wrote:is there a certain type of stainless steel pot that i should use on a cheap budget ? ... thx and hello once again

Re: Hello All
Welcome to HD Deep in The Woods, Stainless and copper are good, ice on your coil is not so good, go to the distillation design section and have a good read and the rest of the site too. Then you'll have even more questions but you'll also have some answers, good luck and happy building.
Sometimes I wonder why is that Frisbee getting bigger......and then it hits me.

Re: Hello All
I'm kinda cornfused? You said you come off the pot to a condenser then from the condenser down to a worm in a bucket. Why would you need two condensers? Sounds kinda like you are wanting to build a pot still. But a condenser above the pot would be more like a reflux still?
Maybe you can explain it a little better for us? Or draw us a diagram. So we can get a good picture of what you are trying to build.
