Been there. Still trying to recover myself. Not an easy task. Still UPS and downs can take their toll on you. Especially when your trying to climb back out of the hole. If it ain't one thing its another. If it makes you feel better. We just had all new tires put on the wifes car last month. Saved up for a while. Then the transmission went out in it last week. Now she's driving my gas guzling suburban with a cracked radiator. Just another hurdle we got to get over. I feel for you.

Just keep swimming just keep swimming just keep swimming.

Thanks Prairie. I appreciate it. That is exactly what is happening here. One thing after another. Just the shit with my truck has been a major pain in the ass. It has broken down 9 times since August. The most recent was Wed ( Nov.7) Gonna fix it Sun. afternoon (well today now) Pulley went, and 20 bucks is a lot of money right now. I hope the new year brings better luck, and a shit ton of it at that.

Thanks Tater, I appreciate it.

I have kept my hopes up as much as possible and tried to stay positive about everything. I still have my plan in the back of my mind to build my still. I have been reading some of the books I have at home to keep my interest fresh, even though money is tight, but you never know what your going to find or run across that is affordable or free that you can use. I have been thinking about building the crock pot still in The Alaskan Bootlegger's Bible because all I would need at this point would be copper line, and I would be able to get that cheap through a friend. Does anyone know if anybody here has used it, and if so, the results?
