Yeeeeeee HHHhaaaaaaaa First run!

Post by TimJ »

You guys and this site are amaizing! I just did my first run of 5 ml. UJSSM! All the advise and reading in here payed off tremendously. It was easy, but only because I was given very good advise and guidence. I sure would have hated to try this alone! I decided to make the run on the electric stove because I got the still cap under the range hood to hold it down. It just fits under tight. Even though it was only my stripping run, I made cuts for practice so I could taste the difference and know where to devide the spirit run. I ended up with 8 pints (not quite full) including the foreshots, heads, hearts, and tails.

Lookin good!

use more jars so you don't have to throw out whole pints/quarts of cut. When you sense a cut coming on...start collecting smaller lots/more jars.
